01 About the project
The Taylors concept helps visitors describe what has happened before choosing a legal service. Its matter finder connects everyday situations with practice information, a named solicitor and a clear next step.
An independent redesign concept exploring a possible direction for this business. This is a design study, with no verified client outcomes reported.

02 The design approach
The firm's own promise, "Advice You Can Understand", is made literal: a matter finder where a visitor picks what happened and gets a plain-language note with the first three steps, the time limit, the cost and the solicitors who practise in that area, all restated from the firm's own area-of-law pages. The night photograph of 17 Brisbane Street carries the opening beside an oversized serif headline written for the injured worker, the lead practice, and the rest of the site is set as an editorial reading experience with one action colour.

Design details
Built around
the experience.
Inside the concept
- Situation-based matter finder
- Practice areas connected with named solicitors
- Firm history and a readable team directory
A clearer first step
Translate the situation, not the visitor.
People often know what happened but do not know the legal category. The matter finder starts with familiar situations and brings together the relevant practice information, solicitor and first-step guidance.
Search & clear answers
Easy to understand.
Easier to discover.
Answer engine optimisation (AEO) means making answers easy to find and understand. Generative engine optimisation (GEO) applies the same care to content that AI search tools may use when answering a question.
How this applies to Taylors Solicitors
The concept connects its business identity with specific services and project information in readable page content. Visible FAQs add direct answers to customer questions. These are useful foundations for search and answer-based discovery.
- What information is available beyond the photographs?
- The page includes readable sections such as Hurt at work: what happens first; Hurt in a motor vehicle accident: what happens first; Hurt in a public or private place: what happens first. These headings and their supporting copy explain the offer without asking readers or search tools to infer it from images alone.
- Which questions does the concept answer?
- The visible question headings include Is the first consultation free?; How does No Win No Fee work at Taylors Solicitors?; Is there a time limit on an injury claim in Queensland?. Keeping questions and answers in the page content makes the information easier to find and interpret.
