Murray & Lyons Solicitors
01 About the project
The Cairns concept leads with the firm’s people and connects practice areas with named solicitors. A historical timeline and matter-specific enquiry options support the firm’s story without interrupting the service journey.
An independent redesign concept exploring a possible direction for this business. This is a design study, with no verified client outcomes reported.

02 The design approach
The concept leads with a 120px Newsreader headline, Call and Send an enquiry, and the firm's own five-lawyer library photo at full bleed. The signature is a matter index that sets each of the seven areas as a display line with the solicitor to ask for. The 1899 history is told through the firm's own newspaper notices and a typeset date column.

Search & clear answers
Easy to understand.
Easier to discover.
Answer engine optimisation (AEO) means making answers easy to find and understand. Generative engine optimisation (GEO) applies the same care to content that AI search tools may use when answering a question.
How this applies to Murray & Lyons Solicitors
The concept connects its business identity with specific services and project information in readable page content. Visible FAQs add direct answers to customer questions. These are useful foundations for search and answer-based discovery.
- What information is available beyond the photographs?
- The page includes readable sections such as A named solicitor for every matter; From Charles Lilley to Murray & Lyons; Two partners, a senior associate and two solicitors. These headings and their supporting copy explain the offer without asking readers or search tools to infer it from images alone.
- Which questions does the concept answer?
- The visible question headings include I’m not sure which area of law my matter falls under. Who do I call?; Who handles family law matters at Murray & Lyons?; Can I make my will online?. Keeping questions and answers in the page content makes the information easier to find and interpret.
