01 About the project
The architecture concept brings built-work photography, a sector-filtered project register and an awards archive into one editorial system. Maroon, charcoal and large typography give the portfolio a recognisable rhythm.
An independent redesign concept exploring a possible direction for this business. This is a design study, with no verified client outcomes reported.

02 The design approach
An editorial, photo-led concept in the firm's own maroon and charcoal, with a serif display face that suits a 40-year practice. The home page opens with the 40 of 85 SM malls proof set at display size beside the firm's own photo of Aseana Two, then shows built work with real captions. A filterable project register makes the breadth of the portfolio the centrepiece.

Inside the concept
- Sector-filtered project register
- Large photographic spreads and numbered index
- Awards archive and founder profiles
A layered portfolio
More than one way into the archive.
The portfolio combines sector filters, large photographic spreads and a numbered project index. That variety gives featured buildings room while keeping the wider body of work accessible.
Search & clear answers
Easy to understand.
Easier to discover.
Answer engine optimisation (AEO) means making answers easy to find and understand. Generative engine optimisation (GEO) applies the same care to content that AI search tools may use when answering a question.
How this applies to JSLA Architects
The concept connects its business identity with specific services and project information in readable page content. Descriptive section headings give the content a clear structure. These are useful foundations for search and answer-based discovery.
- What information is available beyond the photographs?
- The page includes readable sections such as Built work, from Pasay to General Santos; A family practice, led by its founders. These headings and their supporting copy explain the offer without asking readers or search tools to infer it from images alone.
