01 About the project
A Melbourne pest-control concept built around treatment choices, the people doing the work and practical preparation. The lime and forest-green identity comes from the business’s vans, while a house diagram explains where treatment happens.
An independent redesign concept exploring a possible direction for this business. This is a design study, with no verified client outcomes reported.

02 The design approach
The concept borrows the business's own van livery: a wide, confident grotesk, lime on forest, and the phone number set as large as it is on the vans. Ron and Candys fill the first screen beside the offer and a one-tap call, a working price sheet lets a homeowner pick their home and see the starting price, and a cut-away house shows where treatment goes and which surfaces are never sprayed.

Design details
Built around
the experience.
Inside the concept
- Treatment choices with preparation information
- House diagram showing treatment areas
- Suburb lookup and local team photography
Explain the treatment
What happens during a treatment?
The house diagram gives the service a physical context. Visitors can see treatment points and distinguish treated areas from surfaces that are left alone, then use the preparation information before making contact.
Check the service area
Local coverage without a long hunt.
The suburb search turns a large coverage list into a quick lookup. It sits alongside the service choices, so a visitor can check both the problem and the location before asking for a quote.
Search & clear answers
Easy to understand.
Easier to discover.
Answer engine optimisation (AEO) means making answers easy to find and understand. Generative engine optimisation (GEO) applies the same care to content that AI search tools may use when answering a question.
How this applies to SOS Pest Control
The concept connects its business identity with specific services and project information in readable page content. Visible FAQs add direct answers to customer questions. These are useful foundations for search and answer-based discovery.
- What information is available beyond the photographs?
- The page includes readable sections such as Know the price before anyone comes out.; We treat where pests walk, not every surface of your home.; From redbacks in the eaves to a possum in the roof.. These headings and their supporting copy explain the offer without asking readers or search tools to infer it from images alone.
- Which questions does the concept answer?
- The visible question headings include How much does pest control cost in Melbourne with SOS?; Do you spray the whole house?; How long do we need to be out of the house after a treatment?. Keeping questions and answers in the page content makes the information easier to find and interpret.
